Often times we find ourselves consumed by desire. We desire to feel better, know better, and be better. Sometimes we look to fulfill these desires, these wants masked as needs, with all of the wrong things. We look to obtain material possessions by shopping for the latest fashions or electronic devices. We seek our five minutes of fame by posting excessively to social media websites, trying desperately to appear more emotionally well than what is real. We build a collection of followers, hundreds of them, so that we can say that we are important. We overindulge in food to fill our bellies, when in fact what we really yearn for is the chance to feed our souls.
