Melissa Brooks-Cuffee holds an MFA in Creative Writing & Publishing Arts from the University of Baltimore. To pay the bills she’s worked as a blog writer, social media manager, website designer, and telephone operator (next door to a hospital morgue).
Her essays have appeared in Skelter and Plorkology: Stories, Poems, and Essays.
She shares her sometimes heartbreaking, other times laugh-out-loud funny stories with readers like you in hopes that you’ll walk away feeling less alone and more comfortable in the skin you’re in. You can download an excerpt from [/brāk-iNG/], her highly anticipated memoir collection by clicking here.
When she’s not writing, Melissa enjoys singing Disney songs at the top of her lungs with her three suns or indulging in a good book.
